I’m out

Hi guys, long time no see.

Some might know me under another name. There’s nothing much left for me to do at mirror moon, so I’m announcing my retirement. The last two years I haven’t really been active, on the account of a full-time job combined with part-time study.

Five years ago, around this day, mirror moon was founded with the original intent to translate Tsukihime. We have gone on and completed other projects, most notable of all being Fate/stay night. I’m surprised it got this far, really.

Thanks guys, it’s been fun.

I’ll be around if you know where to find me.

  1. I was hoping for a translation of F/HA before anyone left the group, but thanks for your hard work and good luck with your studies!

  2. Thanks for your work!! I’ve played all your projects..!
I just wanna say I’ve enjoyed all your works and THX!!

hope you’ll back for another project….

  3. I as well, did not know you personally, however what I do know, is that the projects you have participated in were by no means small on any level.

We all appreciate your amazing contribution to letting all know of type-moon’s amazing stories.

If it weren’t for your efforts in the patches you and type-moon staff have made, I would never have become a Nasutard.

It’s been one hell of a ride, and you’re one of the people we owe it to the most. Go with confidence in whatever you do, since you know that you yourself, have made quite the contribution to people all over the world that speak english.

YOU HAVE HIS AXE, AND NOW MY BOW!

this is depressingly reminding me of Tom’s Goodbye on cartoon network =(.

  4. I know there are thanks all over this thread but I have to say it as well.

Tsukihime and Fate/Stay-Night were some of the best games I have played. Without your translations, I would never have got to experience and I shudder to think of what that would be like.

Although it makes me sad knowing I will not see any more project translated by mirrormoon, this retirement was well earned. Thanks again for all the hard work.

  5. hello.
I am here to tell you how fun it was to read Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night.(And Wanko and Melty Blood and …)
Without mirrormoon i had to wait until 2010, because i am currently learning the japanese language.

But it’s quite depressive to say goodbye to such a grateful person like you.
The internet has lost another great dude and the earth is still spinning around.

So i hope you get alot of achievements in your life and so on but remember to at least think of us members here as well xD
